Timbaland Presents: Shock Value II

Timbaland is back with a follow up to his 2007 billboard hit Shock Value and i must say it's nothing less than totally freaking awesome! His rock/rnb collaborations are amazing and still haven't gotten old. His first single off the album Morning After Dark is a good preview for what to expect from the album but the rest of the songs are 10 times better.

There are more than 4 songs on the album that I'm in love with and i recommend it 100% for all you people that enjoy a bit of the Timbo!

When We Were Kids =)

So as well as being a music fiend and wanna-be photographer, I'm also interested in making movies and such. Not so much documentaries as i discovered this year, but more in the range of music videos and short movies.

This session at school i had to do an Independent Media Project and i decided to do it on my friends because they tend to do awesomely funny things and i just happen to always have my camera out to film it! I also seem to capture the best moments in history for my friends so i thought it would be pretty cool to put footage all together.

The editing is a bit dodgy but all in all i think it comes together alright =)

Hardstyles-The Pitcher

One type of genre that I'm obsessed with at the moment would have to be Hardstyles.

My friends introduced it to me last year when i was in year 10 and shuffling was all the craze and i was constantly scabbing music off them. I've only really just started to download Hardstyles for myself now and i've found loads of decent artists that are worth advertising.

One in particular is The Pitcher who formed in 2000 and are made up of two guys, Michael Pollen who is the Producer and Luc van Veghel who is the DJ.

They got into the business by producing for more well known artists such as The Donkey Rollers, Zany and Dozer and i must say they have over run most of them!

I definitely recommend them if you're interested in hardstyles and i 100% recommend 'I Just Can't Stop'. It's actually my favourite song right now. It's the perfect blend of techno, pop and pure hardstyles and it really gets you in the mood to rave or just get up out of your chair.

If you're living in Australia get a copy of Maximum Bass: Overload and on disc 3 you'll find some great songs including I Just Can't Stop. =)

Ke$ha

So I'm assuming most of you know who Ke$ha is by now with her addictive catchy new single Tik Tok and cameo on Right Round by Flo-Rida but I'm sure a lot of you haven't heard anymore of her music.

I know she's another typical American, Lady GaGa like auto-tune 'can't sing live artist' but two of her other songs Backstabber & Get In Line are actually pretty good and can trigger the OMG i know exactly what that's like nerves in typical teenagers.

Backstabber is about exactly what the title says.

The lyrics are filled with angsty harsh words about girls gossiping about her and how it makes her feel special & Get In Line is about how boys have to get in line for her because she's so ultra mega awesome!

So both songs are rather catchy and should be hitting the airwaves soon but here are the links to the youtube videos for now =)
